Hi all,

I have iso in which there are three different endpoints with continuation note. In one of the end point the continuation note
is trimmed. I get only the first six letters of the line_id. The seventh letter is not appearing. I checked the END_POINT labels
in . def file. Everything seems to be ok but i don't know why the last letter of the line_id is not appearing.

Can anyone help me?

i was an active participant in the earlier version of PDExperts. I hope this new version also brings in new thoughts and ideas.

Thank You.

Hi Arun,

Can u pls post the isoname.err file here. It can help providing some solution. Also can u check if the length of the Label formed by ISO is exceeding the limit specified for that label?

Hi kevin,

I am posting the iso, err and idf file. I have removed some confidential things.I have also hilited in the isometrics the line number which is trimmed. The actual line number is PF-129523 but it appears as PF-12952. In all other connect points it's perfect. I couldn't trace out the problem. I hope you can solve this for me.
.

Thank you.

This error is from the .err file ...

##############################
  *** WARNING - W20 ***
  Header record attribute is undefined
  Header record number: -43
  Partition: 16 Table: 12 Column: 6 Occ: 8390053

@#, 1520, 12, 1445, 16, 0, 0, 0
##############################

And below is taken from the .idf file,

##############################
-456  SEE DETAIL ?
  -6  WP01-PF-12952
  -1  0-
 -15  N
 -43  UNDEFINED
 -30  ISO: PF-12952
  -1  3$DESIGN AREA
  -1  : WP01$PIPING
##############################

Can u look into the above error. i.e. Header Attribute Undefiend Error. Check Pipeline_Header table defined in the ISO def file and see if the data entered for ur problematic line matches with it or not???

May b this is the cause. Also try to resolve the gasket error also..Such things can lead to errors in isos,..

Hi kevin,

the error is not yet solved.  I tried your suggestions. The line number in the IDF is perfect but i don't know why is not appearing.
But the good thing is when i delete the connected valve and replace it with a flange, it works fine. It's strange behaviour.

For anonymous user: The line id is perfect even in the table pdtable_12_16 and also in the model.

Thank you guys.

Hey arun,

"Complete Line id not appearing"

Check the label desc. library. In that "Isometric drawing labels", there is a label named "Iso continuation". In that check that no. of charac. for line id are acc to your reqr.
